Korostensky MDF Plant

An industrial cogeneration unit supplies both electricity and heat for a high-load MDF production facility. The energy system supports operations such as pressing, drying, and climate control, ensuring uninterrupted productivity and energy cost savings.

PROJECT DETAILS

5 units

Five 2.3 MW gas-powered CHP units supply on-site electricity and heat fully integrated with MDF presses, drying lines, ventilation, and climate control while recovering thermal output for internal use.

With 11.5 MW total capacity, the system ensures continuous, cost-efficient operations, reduces reliance on the external grid, and boosts sustainability by utilizing heat that would otherwise be wasted.
